Assessment of cardiac performance in Isolated hearts of experimental models including langendorff (constant pressure and constant flow), and working heart techniques.

Evaluation of cardiac ischemia reperfusion injury in the hearts including, functional, enzymatic and molecular (gene expression) assessments.

Brief Skill and Expertise :

Evaluation of cardiac protection in different diseases (i.e. thyroid disorders, myocardial hypertrophy, …) using chemical drugs or herbal extracts.

The effect of different chemical compounds and herbal extracts on the myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury.
