Heart Physiology

 

Within the heart physiology lab we investigate the effects of different drugs, hormones, and plant extracts on cardiac function in ischemia-reperfusion conditions.

We also investigate the underlying causes and mechanisms that contribute to hypertrophic process of heart in experimental models. This includes research on physiological, molecular and cellular studies towards basic mechanisms.
